Because the day is entirely yours, you can stop for every photo and set a pace that actually feels good.
Off-The-Beaten-Track Trails
Madeira’s true magic is hidden far away from the tourist maps. We specialize in taking you deep into the quiet, untouched corners of the UNESCO Laurisilva forest, secret mist-shrouded valleys, and isolated ridges. If you want to experience total silence in nature, stand under wild waterfalls all by yourself, and hike trails where the big tour buses physically can’t go, this is for you.

Yes, we offer convenient pickup & drop-off from anywhere on the island including The Funchal Port. Please note, tour start and end times may vary.
No previous hiking experience is required. However, you should be comfortable walking for several hours on mountain terrain and coping with elevation changes.
Yes - your experience includes a local hiking guide who will join you on the trail. They will support the group, manage pacing, share insights about the landscape, and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience throughout the hike.
Trail tickets are not included in the tour price, but we will book them for you in advance, ensuring everything is arranged before the day of your hike. If required an additional cost will be added to the total tour price.
Comfortable walking shoes, water, a light jacket for the mountains, sunscreen, and a camera. If you choose the picnic option, we’ll take care of the food.
